Continues ACL recovery
Joseph (knee) is continuing his ACL recovery in England and has not joined Leeds United for the preseason, according to Isaac Johnson of Leeds Live.
Analysis: Joseph is still not going to be an option for some time as he recovers from surgery on his knee, with the forward continuing recovery with his parent club. With the forward receiving his surgery in April, he does have around another five to six months of recovery ahead of him, leading to a return in the second half of the season. This will likely play a big factor in how much time he sees this season, as he was able to earn decent time on loan last campaign, but a loan may be off the table by the time he recovers, forcing him to find time within the Leeds team.
Returns to Leeds United
Joseph will return to parent club Leeds United following the conclusion of his loan spell at Mallorca, the club announced.
Analysis: Joseph made 30 appearances during his time on the island, contributing two goals and four assists across the campaign. The forward's consistent involvement throughout the season underlines the trust the coaching staff placed in him, and his return to Leeds comes after a productive loan stint that gave him valuable top-flight experience in La Liga.
