Nursing nagging injury
Raimondo has been diagnosed with right Achilles tendinopathy after returning early from his duties with Italy U-21, Frosinone announced.
Analysis: Raimondo is dealing with a lingering physical problem rather than a particularly serious one and will be evaluated in training ahead of October's 10 clash with Napoli. Tomas Bobcek and Daniel Birligea are next in line at the position.
Six shots but no goal
Raimondo generated six shots (two on goal) and one cross (one accurate) in Sunday's 2-0 victory against Como. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 92nd minute.
Analysis: Raimondo took a season high six shots against Como, five of them from inside the box, and he missed a big chance along the way. The striker opened the campaign in excellent form with braces in two of Frosinone's first three games, but he has now gone two matches without a goal.He has racked up 14 shots in Serie A so far, which suggests the goals could soon start flowing again.
Contained by Genoa
Raimondo recorded one shot (zero on goal), drew one foul and completed fve passes in Saturday's 1-1 draw versus Genoa.
Analysis: Raimondo was shackled by the Genoa defenders and struggled to make a difference after bagging back-to-back braces. He has fired at least one shot in every game so far, accumulating eight (four on target) and adding three chances created and two crosses (zero accurate).
Scores twice again in Venezia tilt
Raimondo scored two goals to go with four shots (two on target) and drew three fouls in Sunday's 3-2 win over Venezia.
Analysis: Raimondo put together his second brace in a row, finding the back of the net with a tidy header and an opportunistic finish. He's already up to four goals, while he had bagged 10 in the entire last season in Serie B. He'll remain ahead of Tomas Bobcek as long as he keeps producing. He has taken at least one shot in all three rounds, totaling seven (four on target) and adding three key passes and two crosses (zero accurate).
Bags brace in Fiorentina game
Raimondo scored two goals to go with two shots (two on target), one cross (zero accurate) and two chances created in Saturday's 3-0 win against Fiorentina.
Analysis: Raimondo had a very clutch performance, converting his lone two attempts, first with a neat finish from the middle of the box and then with a gorgeous volley on a long cross. He's off to a good start, but Frosinone just signed Daniel Birligea and Tomas Bobcek, who will soon affect his minutes. He has recorded at least one shot and one key pass in the first two rounds, totaling three of each.
Heads back to Frosinone
Raimondo has returned to Frosinone on a season-long loan from Bologna.
Analysis: Raimondo is set for his second consecutive season with the team, but will play in Serie A this time. He recorded 11 goals and one assist in 36 matches while being the go-to striker in the second division in 2025/2026. Frosinone may add further forwards later in the summer, though.
