Moussa Diarra
Suffers soleus injury
Diarra has suffered a soleus injury in his right leg following diagnostic tests after reporting calf discomfort, according to the club.
Analysis: Diarra has not been able to sustain a consistent run in the side, with his right knee ligament damage from February 2025 following an ankle sprain in 2024 and a surgically repaired foot fracture from 2022. He has now picked up a soleus injury in the right leg on Monday after diagnostic tests. Diarra is targeting a return in time for the season opener, and the club will look to build him up carefully in the coming weeks. His absence is not expected to be a significant blow, however, given his role as a depth option behind Einar Galilea and Fernando Calero at the heart of the defense."
