Three shots in draw
Amaimouni-Echghouyab registered three shots (zero on goal), two crosses (one accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 3-3 draw against Union Berlin.
Analysis: Amaimouni-Echghouyab took three shots and looks to be adjusting to his new club brilliantly. He was dangerous and also created a chance, largely working down the flanks. He was tasked with providing width with Keita Kosugi a more limited option behind him and Amaimouni-Echghouyab did just that. His role could change some as the roster adjusts to some late transfers, but this was a good showing.
Returns after Morocco duty
Amaimouni has returned to training with Frankfurt following his participation with Morocco at the World Cup, the club announced.
Analysis: Amaimouni played just 16 minutes across two appearances during the tournament. His energy and defensive work rate in midfield give him a path to regular minutes, and he's expected to compete with Ritsu Doan for a starting spot as preseason progresses. His return marks the start of his buildup after completing his fitness tests earlier this week. Amaimouni is expected to continue building toward full training involvement as the club's preseason continues.
