Five starts in first seven matches
Noubi has started in five of Deportivo's first seven matches in the current league season.
Analysis: Noubi started and played the full 90 in each of Deportivo's first five matches of the 2026/27 season, but the 21-year-old Belgian defender has been relegated to the bench in the last two. Noubi might rotate at center-back, but even if he plays regularly, Deportivo's defensive woes limit his upside considerably.
Strong defensive display
Noubi registered three tackles (three won), five clearances and one interception in Monday's 1-1 draw against Malaga.
Analysis: Noubi delivered another solid defensive performance, winning all three of his tackles while recording five clearances for the second consecutive match. The center-back has now established an encouraging level of consistency through the opening two fixtures, particularly in dealing with pressure around the penalty area. His physicality and defensive activity suggest he could remain a regular presence at the heart of Deportivo's backline throughout the campaign.
