George generated one shot (zero on goal), four crosses (one accurate) and two chances created in Saturday's 2-0 loss versus Arsenal.
Analysis: George returned to Everton's starting lineup after beginning the previous three matches on the bench, benefiting from Jack Grealish's absence. The winger created two chances and attempted four crosses, while one of his curling efforts was deflected wide by Ben White during the first half. He has now registered one goal, nine chances created and 15 crosses across eight Premier League appearances this season, including five starts. George could continue receiving opportunities on the left flank while Grealish remains unavailable, although competition for attacking places may increase once the squad returns to full strength.
Losing starting role
George came off the bench and played 11 minutes in the Sept. 19 win over Ipswich Town.
Analysis: Geroge started in Everton's first four matches of the 2026/27 Premier League campaign, but he seems to have lost his starting role to Jack Grealish. George could be a valuable attacking option off the bench for the Toffees, but as long as he continues to have that secondary role, his fantasy appeal will be close to minimal.
