Maguette Gueye

Scores in first start

Gueye scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal) in Wednesday's 7-2 defeat to Barcelona.

Analysis: Gueye cut Barcelona's lead to 2-1 after controlling a loose ball following Asier Villalibre's involvement, beating his marker before advancing toward goal and curling a right-footed finish into the bottom-left corner. The goal came in his first start of the season and provided an immediate reward for his opportunity in the starting XI, potentially strengthening his case for further starts.
