Extends contract through 2029
Ortiz signed a contract extension with Real Betis through 2029 and will join first team training this preseason, the club announced.
Analysis: Ortiz joined Betis' academy in 2017 and won the Group 4 Division of Honor Juvenil title twice at the youth level, also reaching a Copa de Campeones final. The 21-year-old has represented Spain's U18 and U19 national teams and made his official first team debut on Jan. 25 against Mallorca. He went on to make five league appearances last season, recording an assist. Ortiz is expected to be fully integrated into first team training as Real Betis' preseason begins.
