Sauer has joined VfB Stuttgart from Feyenoord on a contract through 2031, the club announced.
Analysis: Sauer made his Eredivisie debut for Feyenoord in August 2023 and went on to make 64 appearances in the competition, contributing 12 goals and eight assists. He's also featured six times in the Europa League this past season and twice in the Champions League in 2023-24. Stuttgart moved for the winger to add depth and firepower to its attack for 2026-27 and will provide competition for Chris Fuhrich on the left flank, giving the coach another option in that spot. He's also an established international, capped 11 times for Slovakia since his 2024 debut and part of the squad at Euro 2024.
