Assists in 3-2 win

Gineitis assisted once to go with one cross (zero accurate) and one corner in Friday's 3-2 victory against Monza.

Analysis: Ginetis came from the bench and within 10 minutes had assisted Rafik Belghali to put his side 2-1 ahead as they would go on to win 3-2. This was his second assist of the season after he had provided an assist in the season opener. After starting the first four games of the season, he went unused for a match, he has been a sub for three matches in a row. This was the first time this season that he has created two chances this season.

Delivers assist in defeat

Gineitis assisted once to go with three crosses (one accurate) and one corner in Sunday's 2-1 defeat versus AC Milan.

Analysis: Gineitis put in a free kick cross that was directed into the back of the net by Che Adams in stoppage time against Milan. Outside of set pieces, the midfielder's contribution came from a variety of defensive actions and a couple of fouls drawn during the match. He could enjoy productive outings if his team improves in terms of possession and corner-kick volume in the easier fixtures, though he can't be considered among the squad's top attacking threats in a holding midfield spot.

Eligible for Juventus clash

Gineitis completed a one-game disqualification in Sunday's 2-1 defeat against Cagliari.

Analysis: Gineitis will likely replace Matteo Prati or Emirhan Ilkhan in the midfield next week. He has fired at least one shot in eight consecutive showings, piling up 16 attempts (four on target) and adding seven key passes, 17 crosses (four accurate) and 15 clearances during that stretch. Furthermore, he has tallied one or more tackles in his last 11 starts, amassing 18 (13 won).

Will miss Cagliari contest

Gineitis had five crosses (one accurate), two shots (one on target) and three corners and picked up his fifth yellow card in Friday's 2-1 victory over Sassuolo.

Analysis: Gineitis had his usual well-rounded outing and padded his stats with a few set pieces, but he will have to skip the next match due to yellow-card accumulation. He has notched at least one shot in eight straight fixtures, amassing 16 (four on target). Additionally, this marked his 11th straight appearance with one or more tackles, for a total of 18 (13 won). Two among Matteo Pratic, Emirhan Ilkan and Cesare Casadei will get the nod in the midfield versus Cagliari.
