Creates chance
Kayode recorded one shot (zero on goal), three crosses (one accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 2-1 defeat against Liverpool.
Analysis: Kayode created a single chance during Saturday's loss. That was the end of most of his offensive contributions, as Kayode struggled to stay involved with Brentford down to nine. Kayode has plenty of offensive upside moving forward especially against opponents who are less likely to control the match.
Delivers solid defensive display
Kayode recorded three crosses (one accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 2-2 draw versus Aston Villa. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 82nd minute.
Analysis: Kayode retained his starting role at right-back and delivered an important defensive performance, recording two blocks, including a crucial intervention to deny Johan Manzambi during the first half. The defender also contributed going forward, creating one chance and delivering two crosses, one of which nearly resulted in a goal for Igor Thiago. He has now accumulated one goal, four tackles, seven interceptions and four blocks across six Premier League appearances this season. His consistent involvement suggests he remains firmly established as Brentford's preferred right-back.
