Ben Seghir (thigh) is fit to play again and could be included in the squad for the first time this season for Saturday's match against Augsburg, according to Kicker.
Analysis: Ben Seghir originally suffered his thigh injury in mid July before the first preseason friendly, and what was expected to be around a four week absence stretched to nearly two months. Coach Carles Martinez, who knows the technically gifted attacker well from his time in France, is said to see him as an important piece this season, with sporting director Simon Rolfes noting Martinez was surprised how little Ben Seghir had featured previously at Leverkusen. His return would give the club a valuable option capable of unlocking compact defenses alongside Ibrahim Maza, and also allow Martinez to manage Maza's workload during the upcoming busy stretch of matches.

His availability for the coming fixtures will be monitored closely as Leverkusen continue to manage his recovery carefully.
