Signs with Hull City
Hjerto-Dahl signed a five year contract with Hull City through the summer of 2031 after departing Tromso, the club announced.
Analysis: Hjerto-Dahl made 105 appearances for his hometown club after joining at age six, scoring 19 goals and adding 11 assists, with 89 of those appearances coming in the Eliteserien, where he helped Tromso finish third in both 2023 and 2025. He was the league's joint-second highest scorer this season with seven goals in 14 games before leaving midway through the campaign, and has also gained European experience across Europa League and Conference League qualifying matches. The step up to English football represents a considerably tougher challenge, but the 20-year-old midfielder, who has represented Norway at multiple youth levels including the U21s, hopes to earn playing time as the season progresses.
