Heads to Sassuolo
Sulemana (knee) has moved to Sassuolo on loan with an option to buy from Atalanta.
Analysis: Sulemana goes out on loan again after playing at Bologna and Cagliari in recent campaigns. He posted 11 shots (two on target), 19 tackles s and 14 clearances in 16 appearances (seven starts) last year, scoring once. He'll deputize Darryl Bakola, Vasilije Adzic and Kristian Thorstvedt once healthy, as he was initially expected to return in mid-September.
Picks up substantial knee problem
Sulemana suffered a grade two MCL sprain in his left knee in a recent friendly, Quotidiano Sportivo relayed.
Analysis: Sulemana is expected to need a couple of months to make a full recovery and should therefore return at some point in October. He has been competing with Giacomo Raspadori and Nicola Zalewski on the left wing throughout the summer. Atalanta are also looking for a specialist in such a role.
