Records assist
Ouattara assisted once to go with one shot (zero on goal), three crosses (one accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 3-2 defeat versus Manchester City. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 73rd minute.
Analysis: Ouattara would earn himself a goal contribution for a second match in a row, as the wing-back would find Daizen Maeda in the 21st minute for an assist after netting a goal last time out. That accounts for both of his goal contributions this season, earning two through his seven appearances three starts). He would also record two interceptions and five clearances in the defense.
Scores vs. Fulham
Ouattara scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) and three crosses (zero accurate) in Saturday's 2-1 victory against Fulham.
Analysis: Ouattara scored a late equalizer with a long-range effort that went into the bottom right corner of Bernd Leno. Ouattara has one goal and just two shots in his two starts of the season, but his playing time is trending in the right direction. After logging 41 minutes off the bench across four appearances at the start of the season, he's started and played the full 90 in back-to-back contests.
One shot from right back
Ouattara registered one shot (one on goal) and one chance created in Saturday's 1-0 loss to Everton.
Analysis: Ouattara made his first Premier League start as Ipswich lost 1-0 to Everton. He was busy defensively winning two of his three tackles, making three interceptions and two clearances. The right back also created a chance in the game.
Completes permanent move to Ipswich
Ouattara has completed a permanent transfer from Strasbourg to Premier League side Ipswich Town until 2031, the club announced.
Analysis: Ouattara joined Strasbourg's academy in 2018 at age 13 and progressed through the club's youth ranks before making his professional debut at 18 against Paris Saint-Germain in October 2024. The versatile defender went on to make 62 appearances across all competitions for Strasbourg, scoring five goals and adding two assists, while playing a role in the club's run to the Conference League and Coupe de France semifinals last season. Ouattara is expected to provide depth and positional flexibility for Ipswich as he makes the move to the Premier League.
