Scores goal in defeat
Daghim scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal), four crosses (zero accurate) and two chances created in Sunday's 3-1 loss against SC Paderborn.
Analysis: Daghim reduced the deficit to 2-1 in the 50th minute, converting from inside the box to give Hoffenheim a route back into the match, and registered one shot on goal, four inaccurate crosses and two chances created across 80 minutes before being replaced by Andrej Kramaric. He was Hoffenheim's most dangerous attacking outlet and his 50th minute goal briefly gave the visitors momentum before Steffen Tigges' header ended their comeback hopes. Daghim now has two Bundesliga goals and two assists this season in four Bundesliga appearances.
Sets up game winning goal
Daghim had an assist while taking an off target shot, creating four chances and making three tackles (winning all three) during Saturday's 2-1 win over Stuttgart.
Analysis: Daghim set up Adam Hlozek in the 67th minute assisting the game winning goal while leading Hoffenheim in chances created and tackles. The attacker has a goal involvement in each of his first three starts for his new club while combining for five shots, seven chances created and 12 crosses over that stretch.
Scores in club debut
Daghim scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal), six crosses (one accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 3-2 loss against 1. FC Koln.
Analysis: Daghim made his first appearance for Hoffenheim Saturday after joining the club in the summer from Red Bull Salzburg. He seems to like his new shirt as he scored just 27 minutes into his debut, an outside-the-box strike assisted by Bambase Conte. It was the only shot he took in the match, but he also provided six crosses and one chance created on the attack. He contributed defensively too, recording three interceptions, one tackle and one clearance before he was subbed off in the 87th minute.
Transfers to Hoffenheim
Daghim will head to Hoffenheim under a long-term contract after leaving Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg, the team announced Sunday.
Analysis: Daghim has plenty of potential as a 20-year-old forward who can play in both wide and central positions and boasts previous Bundesliga experience from his time in Wolfsburg in 2025/26. He also spent a short spell in Salzburg, where he made seven Champions League appearances, scoring one goal in that competition. He'll give his new club a much-needed option on the right flank, and he may also challenge Tim Lemperle and Adam Hlozek up front.
