Loan comes to end

Fernandez has returned to Villarreal following his loan with Oviedo.

Analysis: Fernandez is back with his parent club after half a season on loan with Ovideo, not able to save them from relegation. He would earn a decent role on the left side of the field for Oviedo, notching four assists on 16 appearances (nine appearances). This does show the 22-year-old did make some progress on his loan and does show value, potentially a useful part of their bench in the 2026/27 campaign.
