Davide Bartesaghi
MIL
Lively display in Udinese fixture
Bartesaghi registered three shots (zero on goal), eight crosses (one accurate) and four corners and created two scoring chances in Sunday's 2-0 win versus Udinese.
Analysis: Bartesaghi replaced Diego Moreira on the wing and had a major production on both ends, leading his team in deliveries. He set new season highs in crosses, shots, and tackles, as he has been fielded sparingly so far. Bartesaghi has recorded at least one key pass, accumulating six, and one delivery, racking up 14 (five accurate), in his last three displays, assisting once and notching 10 tackles (five won), six clearances and four shots (one on target) in that stretch.
Active showing against Veneiza
Bartesaghi had two crosses (one accurate), three clearances and two chances created and won two of four tackles in Friday's 2-0 win versus Venezia.
Analysis: Bartesaghi got the call over Pervis Estupinan after coming off the bench last week and put together a complete stat line thanks to his activity on the flank and in the back. He's a more defensive alternative also to Diego Moreira, who will likely eventually take over the position. He has posted two key passes and at least one cross, accumulating three (two accurate), in the first two matches.
