Loaned to Le Mans with option
Traore has joined Le Mans FC on a season long loan with an option to buy from Southampton, according to the club.
Analysis: Traore came through Nice's academy and quickly established himself as one of the most promising players of his generation, reaching the final of the 2023 U17 European Championship with France. He earned his first Ligue 1 minutes in 2024 before Southampton signed him, and has since gained experience through loan spells at Valenciennes, Real Betis and Bari. The 20 year old box to box midfielder will wear the number 23 shirt as he continues his development in France.
