Analysis: With his side up 1-0 coming out of the halftime break, Baum scored an own-goal in the 46th minute which started Augsburg's second half onslaught. It was a disappointing moment, especially coming off of the season opener where he recorded his first career goal contribution. He still managed a decent day on the attack, recording one shot and creating one chance before he was subbed off in the 69th minute for Timothy Chandler.

Analysis: Baum got on the scoresheet during Saturday's draw. He was technically lined up out of position at left-back but he made the most of it throughout the match. He also took a pair of shots. It's unclear if he's going to be the top-choice left-back this season, but he's certainly the most appealing one on the roster after the sale of Nathaniel Brown.
