Jacobo Ramón
Scores in UCL win
Ramon scored a goal off his lone shot and made four tackles (all won), two clearances and one interception during Wednesday's 4-1 Champions League win over Manchester United.
Analysis: Ramon was solid as usual the few times he was called into action defensively and did even more in the attacking end as he appeared unmarked inside the six-yard box to head home a cross from the left and make it 4-0 in the 76th minute. The center-back remains a very reliable source of fantasy numbers and has also been impactful offensively in European competition, with a goal and an assist over the past two UCL games.
Logs assist in Feyenoord fixture
Ramon assisted once to go with four tackles (four won), three clearances and two blocks in Wednesday's 3-2 defeat against Feyenoord.
Analysis: Ramon put up strong numbers in the back but wasn't particularly on point, and his team allowed three goals for the first time in the season. He set up Anastasios Douvikas with a great ball over the top on the final goal. He has notched at least four tackles, totaling 15 (10 won), and one block, amassing four, in three consecutive tilts. Additionally, he has recorded multiple clearances in every fixture, racking up 30 and contributing to one clean sheet.
Scores opener in victory
Ramon scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) in Monday's 2-1 victory over Parma.
Analysis: Ramon tapped home Nico Paz's assist in the 22nd minute to open the scoring, while also recording one shot on goal and zero crosses across 90 minutes in a composed showing alongside Marc-Oliver Kempf at the heart of Como's defense. He paired his goal contribution with a rock-solid defensive shift, helping Como keep Parma in check and limit them to just four shots on target.
Completes suspension
Ramon served a one-game ban in Sunday's 1-0 win over Verona.
Analysis: Ramon will return against Parma next week and likely start over either Marc-Oliver Kempf or Diego Carlos in the back. He has tallied at least one clearance in four straight appearances, amassing 12, contributing to two clean sheets and adding five shots (one on target), three tackles (two won) and five blocks during that stretch.
Will sit out Verona tilt
Ramon had five clearances, two blocks and two shots (zero on target) and picked up his 10th yellow card in Saturday's 0-0 draw with Napoli.
Analysis: Ramon was excellent defensively but botched a couple of finishes in the opposing box and will have to miss Sunday's away game against Verona because of yellow-card accumulation. Marc-Oliver Kempf will likely team up with Diego Carlos in the next round.
