Plays 19 minutes versus Brentford
Quenda took one shot (zero on goal) over 19 minutes of play in the EPL week five loss to Brentford.
Analysis: Quenda is not yet established as a first-team option but has now made two Premier League appearances as a substitute during his first season as a Chelsea player. Considering he had just recovered from a considerable issue at the beginning of the campaign, he might continue to see his playing time managed, with his long-term involvement depending on his performance and the level of rotation during busy periods.
Managed through busy week
Quenda was not involved in Thursday's Carabao Cup win over Luton, though coach Xabi Alonso stressed there was no cause for concern. "There were no issues, and the plan is that they are training from Friday and preparing for the game on Sunday."
Analysis: Quenda is in contention to face Brighton on Sunday, with manager Alonso adding that he wants to make sure his body doesn't get stressed and that he feels comfortable and well as the club continues carefully managing his workload through a busy week of matches.
