First session as a Seagull
Vuskovic took part in his first training session with Brighton, the club announced.
Analysis: Vuskovic joined the club on a five year deal with an option for a further year after departing Tottenham, arriving off a breakout campaign on loan at Hamburg in which he won four Bundesliga Rookie of the Month awards and the overall Rookie of the Season honor. The center back has scored 16 goals in 78 senior club appearances and represented Croatia at this summer's World Cup. His first session marks the beginning of his integration into the squad. Vuskovic is expected to continue building toward full involvement as Brighton's preseason continues.

Analysis: Vuskovic came through Hajduk Split's academy, making his senior league debut two days after his 16th birthday in February 2023 to become the joint youngest appearance maker in Croatian top flight history. He spent time on loan at Radomiak Radom and Westerlo before a loan move to Hamburg last season, where he won four Bundesliga Rookie of the Month awards and the overall Rookie of the Season honor while earning a spot on the Bundesliga Team of the Year. The center back has scored 16 goals in 78 senior club appearances and has also netted for Croatia, whom he represented at this summer's World Cup. Vuskovic is expected to add depth and long term upside to Brighton's backline following a breakout campaign.
