Returns to full training
Stange (ribs) participated fully in team training Tuesday after picking up a knock against RB Leipzig, according to Hamburger Morgenpost.
Analysis: Stange appears to have avoided any significant issue after taking a painful blow to the ribs during his substitute appearance against Leipzig. The forward was able to participate in Tuesday's full session, including 11-on-11 work, indicating the problem is unlikely to affect his availability for Saturday's clash against Koln. Stange should therefore remain an option in attack as he looks to earn more minutes following his return from a loan spell at Elversberg.
Suffers painful rib blow
Stange picked up a painful blow to the ribs after coming on in the 78th minute of the recent 5-0 loss at RB Leipzig, seen walking through the mixed zone with an ice pack on his torso, though the club does not believe it to be a more serious injury, according to Hamburger Morgenpost.
Analysis: Stange recently returned to Hamburg after a loan spell at Elversberg, and his availability for team training Tuesday afternoon is set to be confirmed following a medical assessment ahead of Saturday's home match against Koln. His path back into full training will be worth monitoring as the club approaches the fixture.
