Alexi Koum

Koum has recovered from the illness that kept him out of Thursday's Europa League clash against Sturm Graz and is available for selection moving forward, according to coach Bruno Genesio. "Everyone is available."

Analysis: Koum is back in contention after overcoming the illness that prevented him from traveling with Marseille for Thursday's European encounter against Sturm Graz. The young defender has recovered sufficiently to be considered for upcoming fixtures, although his return to fitness is unlikely to significantly change his position in the squad. Koum has struggled to earn playing time since returning from his loan spell at Valenciennes and has yet to make a competitive appearance under coach Bruno Genesio this season. Emerson remains ahead of him in the pecking order at left-back, leaving Koum primarily as a depth option. While he should be available for Marseille's upcoming matches, his chances of earning meaningful minutes remain limited unless injuries or rotation create additional opportunities.
