Bulatovic has appeared in all five of Lens' first Ligue 1 matches, with one start and four appearances as a substitute to begin the 2026/27 season.
Analysis: Bulatovic has played 167 league minutes and has yet to record a goal or assist. He replaced Amadou Haidara in the 72nd minute against Monaco, showing that he remains part of the midfield rotation although his contributions are decent with some set piece duties, contributing three chances created, six crosses, three corners and four tackles in five outings.

Bulatovic (undisclosed) is starting in Lens second friendly of the day against Futebol Clube de Famalicao.
Analysis: Bulatovic looked to have possibly picked up an injury after being the only substitute in the first 45-minute friendly of the day. However, he has returned for the second friendly and is starting immediately, shaking off any concerns of an injury. He will now continue to push for a role as a depth midfield option.
Off after 34 minutes
Bulatovic was taken off the field in the 34th minute of Tuesday's friendly against Crystal Palace, according to his club.
Analysis: Bulatovic would score a beautiful goal and then be taken off quickly after, raising some concerns about an injury. This will be something to monitor, as he started to earn more time at the end of the last campaign and was looking to be a part of the midfield mix for the new season. They will have another friendly later in the day, so there is a chance he returns for that match, and he was only used sparingly in their opening friendly on Tuesday. Either way, it is something to watch as the new season approaches.

Analysis: Bulatovic finished the 2025-26 season in top form, logging all but one of his campaign's four assists across his last four appearances. He logged the four assists on 11 shots (five on goal), 16 chances created, 57 crosses (15 accurate) and 36 corners in 19 appearances (six starts).
Four shots in 1-0 win
Bulatovic assisted once to go with four shots (one on goal), 11 crosses (three accurate) and eight corners in Friday's 1-0 victory over Nantes. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 36th minute.
Analysis: Bulatovic provides an assist for the team's only goal in the match. It was his third assist in the league campaign. Bulatovic provided 11 crosses as well but only three were accurate.
