Signs with Udinese
Jovanovic completed a transfer to Udinese from Stuttgart with immediate effect, according to the club.
Analysis: Jovanovic made six competitive appearances for Stuttgart, debuting against Union Berlin on the opening day of last season after joining from Red Star Belgrade in the summer of 2025, and also featured three times in the Europa League. The 19 year old Serbian forward now gets a fresh opportunity for regular playing time in Serie A.
Scores twice in friendly
Jovanovic (back) scored twice in Sunday's 7-0 win over Balingen in a pre-season friendly.
Analysis: Jovanovic was part of the first training session earlier this week and looked completely recovered in this friendly, scoring two of the team's seven goals. He figures to have a rotational role in Stuttgart's attack in the 2026/27 season.

Jovanovic (back) participated in full training on the first day of the 2026/27 preseason Thursday.
Analysis: Jovanovic ended the 2025/26 season on the sidelines due to a back issue that kept him out of the field since December, and he was limited to just six appearances across the Bundesliga and the UEFA Europa League. Jovanovic would be a depth piece in Stuttgart's attacking line if healthy, but he's not expected to see a large role anyway. He's yet to score a goal with the club since joining from Red Star Belgrade last summer.
