Arsène Kouassi
LOR
Assists in defeat
Kouassi assisted once to go with one cross (zero accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 2-1 defeat versus Le Mans. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 19th minute.
Analysis: Kouassi made the decisive attacking contribution for Lorient, driving forward and delivering a ground cross that Jensen finished, though a deflection helped it on its way in. His 0.70 expected assists across five matches this season reflect consistent creative threat from the left wing back position, and his eight chances created highlight an attacking output that goes beyond his one direct contribution. The yellow card picked up early in the match will be worth monitoring given his next fixture against Paris FC, who sit third following the international break, is already a difficult enough task without disciplinary concerns.
Records assist
Kouassi assisted once to go with one shot (one on goal), two crosses (one accurate) and one chance created in Sunday's 4-0 victory against Metz.
Analysis: The assist marks Kouassi's sixth this season. He has been a solid wing-back for Lorient, with not only his six assists but also 115 crosses (20 accurate), 36 corners and 30 chances created in 30 appearances.
