Available despite fitness concern
Avom (undisclosed) is available for Saturday's Ligue 1 clash against Paris FC despite dealing with a recent physical issue, according to the club.
Analysis: Avom has been managing an undisclosed issue that raised concerns over his availability, but he has now been cleared for selection. The midfielder has featured in all five of Lorient's opening Ligue 1 matches, starting three and recording 10 tackles, nine interceptions and three chances created across 314 minutes. Although Noah Mbamba's hamstring injury could have opened the door for Avom to take on a larger role, coach Alexandre Dujeux previously indicated that he was unlikely to start due to his fitness concerns. Jean-Victor Makengo and Alec Georgen remain alternatives in deeper midfield positions, while Avom could be utilized off the bench against Paris FC.
Dealing with fitness issue
Avom (undisclosed) is dealing with a physical issue but should be available for Saturday's Ligue 1 clash against Paris FC, although he is not expected to start, according to coach Alexandre Dujeux, per Le Telegramme.
Analysis: Avom is managing an undisclosed issue that could limit his involvement against Paris FC, despite being expected to feature in the starting XI following Noah Mbamba's injury (hamstring). The midfielder has appeared in all five of Lorient's opening Ligue 1 matches, starting three and recording 10 tackles, nine interceptions and three chances created across 314 minutes. While Avom should remain an option off the bench, Jean-Victor Makengo or Alec Georgen could see increased playing time in a deeper midfield role if he is unable to start.
