Arthur Avom
LOR
Role evolves in Lorient
Avom has featured in all five of Lorient's opening Ligue 1 matches but started only three of them since his role isn't as secured as last year under new coach Alexandre Dujeux.
Analysis: Avom has logged 314 minutes in midfield and recorded 10 tackles, nine interceptions and three chances created in five appearances. Avom has yet to score or assist, but his three starts and two substitute appearances show that he remains a regular part of the rotation.
Back on scoresheet
Avom scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) and one cross (one accurate) in Sunday's 4-0 victory versus Metz.
Analysis: Avom will finish the 2025-26 Ligue 1 with multiple goals, his second coming off Lorient's bench this season. He logged the two goals across his last nine appearances, indicating his season's form looks to finish on a high note.
