Akinsanmiro assisted once to go with one cross (one accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 3-2 defeat against Udinese.
Analysis: Akinsanmiro impressed as a substitute following his recovery from illness, and his lone cross led to the second home goal in the 63rd minute of the match. The Inter Milan loanee has made a good impression at the beginning of his spell with Monza, pushing for increased outings in future contests. If he can carry the momentum, he'll be expected to oust Mathis Mout in a central midfield spot throughout the season.

Akinsanmiro will skip Saturday's game versus Inter due to a physical problem, coach Ivan Juric announced.
Analysis: Akinsanmiro missed a recent Coppa Italia game because of the flu but might be dealing with a different kind of issue a week later, although the gaffer didn't elaborate on it. Youngster Foe Ondoa and Mathis Mout are next in line since Matteo Pessina (knee) and Leonardo Colombo are on the shelf as well.
Joins Monza
Akinsanmiro has moved from Inter to Monza on a loan with a conditional obligation to buy.

He'll be near the top of the depth at Monza, as they don't have many established midfielders on their roster at the moment.
Robust defensively versus Lecce
Akinsanmiro registered five tackles (two won), one key pass and four interceptions and drew one foul in Friday's 2-1 loss to Lecce.
Analysis: Akinsanmiro was a muscular presence in the midfield in his third straight start filling in for Marius Marin (knee), and posted a new season high in tackles and matched the one in interceptions, but it didn't suffice to properly stifle the adversaries. He snapped a three-game streak with one clearance. He has registered 10 tackles (four won), three chances created and six interceptions in the last five contests.
