Serves ban
Makosso is no longer suspended and is an option moving forward.
Analysis: Makasso had to skip out on a loss to Rennes due to a suspension, but is now back in the fold, set to return in the coming matches. He has started in every match he has been an option for this season and should maintain that role, likely to earn a starting role next contest.
Suspended for Rennes clash
Makosso will miss Auxerre's match against Rennes on Oct. 11 due to suspension following a fifth caution, effective from September 29, according to the league.
Analysis: Makosso has made four Ligue 1 appearances this season, contributing one assist, three tackles, eight interceptions and 25 clearances, since joining from Luton Town over the summer, continuing to establish himself in central defense for Auxerre. He will likely be replaced by Elikya Legros in the back three during his absence against the Bretons.
