Signs with Toulouse
Sigur has joined Toulouse from Hajduk Split, the club announced.
Analysis: Sigur comes to Toulouse off the back of a strong year, having established himself as a regular at Hajduk Split and then started three matches for Canada at the 2026 World Cup. Toulouse pushed the deal through on the last day of the window as they looked to reinforce the right side, and Sigur picked them over several other suitors across Europe. The versatility between right back and midfield should get him minutes quickly.

Sigur had two crosses (one accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 3-0 defeat versus Morocco.
Analysis: Sigur got the start over Nathan Saliba in midfield due to the absence of Ismael Kone (leg), and he didn't have a good game. He looked lost defensively and wasn't a threat on offense. Sigur was a depth piece for Canada in the World Cup, and his start against Morocco was his lone appearance in the XI in the tournament.

Sigur generated one shot (zero on goal) and three crosses (one accurate) in Thursday's 6-0 win against Qatar.
Analysis: Sigur came off the bench with seven minutes to go as Canada finished the game with a 6-0 result. He completed all 13 of his passes, completed one of his three crosses and also took a shot. This was the youngsters World Cup debut and was impressive for the short time that he was on the pitch.
