Extends Osasuna contract
Arguibide has signed a three-year contract extension with Osasuna that will keep him at the club through June 2030, according to the club.
Analysis: Arguibide's new deal comes after establishing himself as a key member of Osasuna's starting XI, with the 21-year-old starting each of the club's first seven league matches this season. The right-back has logged more La Liga minutes than any other Osasuna player during the opening stages of the campaign after splitting time between the senior side and reserves last season.
Struggles in service
Arguibide Goni generated seven crosses (two accurate) and one tackle in Monday's 0-0 draw against Levante.
Analysis: Goni did manage seven crosses but only two were deemed to be accurate. The midfielder wasn't completely responsible for Osasuna's offensive struggles as Levante goalkeeper Mathew Ryan was phenomenal, but Goni will need to be more efficient to get results. He has a good matchup looming against Celta Vigo, a team which allowed 48 goals in LaLiga play last season.
