DNP in Torino fixture
Palma (thigh) didn't come off the bench in Monday's 2-1 loss to Torino.
Analysis: Palma worked his way back from an injury but will have to wait for his return to the pitch. He could get some opportunities if James Abankwah misses time due to his recent thigh issue, but Udinese brought in another starting-caliber player, David Alaba, during the break.
Available against Torino
Palma (thigh) "has recovered during the break," coach Kosta Runjaic relayed.
Analysis: Palma will be back after sitting out four matches and will try to challenge Christian Kabasele, Enzo Ebosse and newcomer David Alaba. He had gotten the nod in the opener, recording one tackle (one won), three clearances and one block before subbing off.
Will miss a few weeks
Palma has been diagnosed with a right adductor longus strain and will be sidelined for up to a month, Udinese announced.
Analysis: Palma will have to miss a few games after leaving the opener at halftime. Enzo Ebosse and Nicolo Bertola will pick up the slack in the next match, while Christian Kabasele will return from suspension in two rounds.
Subbed off against Como
Palma had three clearances and one block and completed 15 passes in 45 minutes in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Como before bowing out at the interval due to a thigh problem, coach Kosta Runjaic announced.
Analysis: Palma did a decent job while replacing Christian Kabasele (suspension) but didn't return from the locker room after halftime due to a muscular issue that will need to be evaluated ahead of next Monday's clash with Lazio. Enzo Ebosse took his place in the back. The starter is disqualified for another tilt.
