Signs for Gladbach until 2030

Leszczynski has joined Gladbach from Legia Warsaw on a contract until 2030, the club announced.

Analysis: Leszczynski made his Ekstraklasa debut on February 13, 2026 at the age of 18 in a 1-1 draw against GKS Katowice, going on to make four first-team appearances before the end of the season having progressed through Legia's academy since the 2019/20 season. Sporting director Rouven Schroder praised his solidity in duels, aerial ability, ambidexterity and excellent ball distribution, describing him as a highly talented defender with a promising profile and significant potential. Leszczynski, who has represented Poland from U16 through to U19 level with four caps at the latter, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to join a club renowned for developing young players as he looks to take the next step in his career.
