Vaz will be sidelined for a few weeks because of a right MCL sprain, Corriere dello Sport informed.

Analysis: Vaz might be able to recover in time for the Serie A opener in late August, but he'll have to sit out a good chunk of the pre-season preparation, putting his status for at least the first couple of games in question. He only appeared off the bench last season while deputizing Donyell Malen, scoring once in 14 showings.
