Scores first professional goal
Kamissoko scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) and one chance created in Sunday's 5-2 win against Angers.
Analysis: Kamissoko scored with his only shot while creating one chance across 80 minutes in Sunday's 5-2 victory at Angers. He gave Marseille a 2-1 advantage in the 43rd minute, arriving at the near post to power home a header from Emerson's corner just six minutes after Himad Abdelli's equalizer. The goal was Kamissoko's first at the professional level, while his defensive contribution from midfield helped Marseille control possession and secure their second consecutive Ligue 1 victory.
Impresses in first career start
Kamissoko made his first career start in Sunday's 2-0 victory over Troyes, recording three tackles won, one interception, two clearances, one block and two deemed fouls across an impressive 73-minute shift.
Analysis: Kamissoko took advantage of Marseille's injury problems in midfield to earn his first senior start after previously logging just 21 minutes across three substitute appearances last season. The young midfielder delivered an encouraging defensive performance against Troyes, contributing across multiple categories while helping Marseille secure a clean sheet. Having recently extended his contract through 2029, Kamissoko appears to be making progress toward establishing himself in the first-team rotation. Although his opportunities could remain dependent on injuries and squad rotation, Sunday's performance should strengthen his case for additional playing time in the coming weeks.
