Cordero will return to parent club Newcastle following the conclusion of his loan spells at Westerlo and Cadiz.

Analysis: Cordero endured a difficult first half of the season at Westerlo, managing just seven brief substitute appearances for a total of 87 minutes in the Belgian Pro League before being recalled and sent to Cadiz in January. His second loan proved far more productive, making 21 second division appearances including 15 starts and scoring three goals in his final four outings, including a decisive strike in a 3-0 win over Leganes that sealed the club's survival. Cordero now returns to Newcastle ahead of pre-season where he will look to build on his strong second-half showing at Cadiz as he bids to eventually force his way into coach Eddie Howe's Premier League squad.
