Signs with Hoffenheim

De Cat has signed a long term contract with TSG Hoffenheim from RSC Anderlecht, according to the club.

Analysis: De Cat made his professional debut for Anderlecht in the Europa League in February 2025 before becoming a regular in the first team squad last summer, going on to make 46 competitive appearances with three goals and five assists across all competitions. The 17 year old central midfielder came through Anderlecht's academy from the age of nine and earned his senior Belgium debut in March 2026 after previously representing the country's youth national teams. He joins Hoffenheim as one of European football's most highly regarded midfield prospects, and his path to regular Bundesliga minutes will be one to track as he begins the next stage of his development.
