Logan Farrington

Farrington signed a contract extension with FC Dallas until the end of the 2027/28 MLS season, the club announced Friday. The deal also includes club options for the 2028/29 and 2029/30 seasons.

Analysis: Harrington is playing his third consecutive season at FC Dallas and is posting career-best numbers. He has six goals and two assists in just 14 appearances (nine starts), so he figures to remain a regular upfront for the Lone Star franchise as long as he stays healthy.

Opens scoring on Saturday

Farrington scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal) in Saturday's 2-1 win versus Colorado Rapids. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 49th minute.

Analysis: Farrington opened the scoring with a well-placed spot kick in the 12th minute. He also recorded one tackle, one clearance, and one interception. He has now scored twice in the last three games and has contributed to eight goals this campaign. His next match will be in July, following the conclusion of the World Cup.
