Darryl Bakola
Ruled out late for Bologna tilt
Bakola is unavailable for Sunday's fixture versus Bologna because of muscular discomfort, Sky Italy reported.
Analysis: Bakola didn't feel completely right in the last training session, and the team preferred not to take any chances. His next opportunity will come against Juventus next Sunday. Luca Lipani is starting over Kristian Thorstvedt in the midfield.
Will sit out Parma game
Bakola (undisclosed) "won't make the squad for Sunday," coach Fabio Grosso announced.
Analysis: Bakola recently missed time with a knee sprain but had returned in the last round. Alieu Fadera will deputize Armand Lauriente in relief. Bakola hasn't found much room since joining from Olympique Marseille, assisting once and registering three shots (one on target), three chances created and eight tackles in six appearances (one start).
Comes off the bench late against Torino
Bakola (knee) had two crosses (zero accurate), one corner and one shot (one on target) in six minutes in Friday's 2-1 loss to Torino.
Analysis: Bakola got busy during a short stint off the bench, picking up a small amount of stats across the board on offense. He'll play second fiddle to Armand Lauriente, Morten Thorsby and Domenico Berardi down the stretch. He has assisted once and logged three shots (one on target), two chances created, and three crosses (zero accurate) in his last five appearances (one start).
Available versus Torino
Bakola (knee) "hasn't trained a lot recently but will be with us Friday," coach Fabio Grosso informed.
Analysis: Bakola will be an option after sitting out four matches because of a knee sprain, but he will be eased into action since he's far from 100 percent and had a limited role beforehand. He has assisted once and added two key passes, one cross (zero accurate) and five tackles (zero won) in his last four appearances (one start).
Will stay on the mend
Bakola (knee) "won't recover for Sunday," coach Fabio Grosso stated.
Analysis: Bakola will skip the third contest in a row but might miss further ones because of a knee sprain. He had just started being part of the rotation following a January move before the injury. Alieu Fadera and Cristian Volpato will keep soaking up his minutes.
