Signs with Elche

Morcillo has completed a transfer to Elche from Atletico Madrid, according to his new club.

Analysis: Morcillo is on the move this week as he finds a new club despite not going far, as the midfielder signs with Elche in La Liga. The young talent has done little in La Liga play so far, as at the age of 20, he has only appeared five times with Atletico Madrid, playing 169 minutes. That said, he will be given more opportunities with his new club for minutes, although he still will have to find a spot in the team to begin with the club.
