Inao Oulai (thigh) has been named in Fiorentina's squad list to face Venezia on Friday.
Analysis: Inao Oulai avoided serious problems after limping off early in the previous game, as he was diagnosed with a mild thigh issue and shook it off quickly. However, he's a long shot to start, having trained on the side for most of the week. Nicolo Fagioli, Arthur Atta, Cher Ndour and Marco Brescianini have better chances of being in the XI.
Limps off in Torino game
Inao Oulai generated one tackle (one won) and one interception before leaving Saturday's match versus Torino after 24 minutes because of a leg injury, La Gazzetta dello Sport reported.
Analysis: Inao Oulai got the start and contributed defensively a little before suddenly asking to come out, likely because of a muscular issue, after receiving some medical attention. He'll need to be assessed ahead of Friday's match against Venezia. Cher Ndour, who generally starts, replaced him off the bench in this one.
Decent outing in Frosinone fixture

Analysis: Oulai was selected over Nicolo Fagioli in this one and made his presence felt on both ends, despite the result. Fiorentina are still figuring out their rotation after several additions, but the club invested to acquire him, so he should eventually be a cornerstone. He has tallied at least one tackle in his first two appearances, amassing five (four won) and posting one off-target shot, two interceptions and two chances created.

Inao Oulai has completed a transfer to Fiorentina from Trabzonspor, according to his new club.
Analysis: Inao Oulai is on his way out of Turkey as he takes the next steps of his career to Italy, with the 20-year-old inking a deal with Fiorentina. While still young in his career, he was able to earn decent time with Trabzonspor in the last campaign, recording two goals and four assists in 31 appearances. With the midfielder also playing with the Ivory Coast National team already, he is a solid prospect with room to grow, likely to begin as more of a rotational option before pushing for more minutes.

Inao Oulai had two interceptions, two clearances and one key pass and won two of four tackles in Saturday's 2-1 defeat against Germany.
Analysis: Inao Oulai had a gritty performance in his first start in the World Cup, filling the stat sheet on the defensive end and contributing a little on the other one as well. He took advantage of a schematic change, as the coach went with an extra midfielder, and got the nod over Seko Fofana. He has recorded at least one shot, one interception, one clearance and one block in the first two contests.
