Job Ochieng
RSO
Earns assist
Ochieng assisted once to go with four shots (zero on goal), one cross (zero accurate) and one chance created in Sunday's 3-2 win versus Valencia.
Analysis: Ochieng was in the starting XI for Sociedad after two straight games in a bench role, with the forward playing for 62 minutes on the right flank. He would bag an assist in his time on the field, finding Luka Sucic in the 26th minute. This is his third assist of the season, now with four goal contributions in four appearances (three starts) this season.
Three goal involvements in start
Ochieng scored one goal and assisted twice from four shots and three chances created in Monday's 3-2 victory over Elche.
Analysis: Ochieng made another start this season, his second of the campaign and the highest number of senior starts of his career, as Real Sociedad navigated a busy opening schedule that has seen the club look to fresh legs. He was the standout performer, contributing directly to all three of Real Sociedad's goals in the game. The performance likely earns him more minutes in the short term, though long term a regular starting spot is far from guaranteed with Goncalo Guedes, Takefusa Kubo and Ander Barrenetxea holding more experience and standing as the preferred options.
