Forced off late against Monza
Britschgi had two tackles and 10 passes and won two of two tackles in 77 minutes in Sunday's 1-1 draw with Monza before exiting due to an injury, coach Carlos Cuesta announced.
Analysis: Britschgi drew his second start in a row but was pretty quiet offensively and will need to be assessed ahead of Monday's clash with Como. "It doesn't look to be too serious, but he'll have to take some tests," the gaffer added. Parma changed the scheme when he left, as they don't have other wing-backs besides Enrico Delprato, who usually plays as a defender.

Analysis: Britschgi will return for the second round against Juventus on Saturday and will be in contention to start as a winger, where Parma don't have a clear first choice and have been rotating players, including him, in the pre-season. Otherwise, he'll back up Enrico Delprato and Emanuele Valeri on the defensive flanks. He assisted twice, contributed to seven clean sheets and notched 49 crosses (11 accurate), 33 tackles and 38 clearnces in 29 appearances (22 starts) last year.
