Extends contract at Bayern

Osmani signed an early contract extension with Bayern Munich, the club announced.

Analysis: Osmani joined Bayern's academy in 2017 from TSV Milbertshofen's U9 side and progressed through the youth ranks, playing for the U17s before moving up to the U19s last season. The 17-year-old midfielder made his Allianz Arena debut in March under coach Vincent Kompany during a 4-0 win over Union Berlin. Academy director Jochen Sauer praised his development as a homegrown talent from Munich and expressed confidence in his potential going forward. Osmani is expected to continue his progression with the U19s next season, with his new deal set to automatically convert into a professional contract once he turns 18.
