Djibirin Harouna
Scores off bench in win
Djibirin scored a goal off two shots (both on target) and created one chance after coming off the bench during Saturday's 3-1 win over Auxerre.
Analysis: Djibirin was brought as part of a double substitution midway through the second frame and needed just two minutes to prove his coach was right as he was at the right place to pick up a loose ball inside the ball and fire a one-timed left-footer into the net to give his side a 2-1 lead. This was the first goal of the season for the youngster, who will hope to see an increased role in his first full campaign as a senior.
Back in training for preseason
Djibirin (ankle) has returned to training with Angers for preseason, the club posted.
Analysis: Djibirin missed the remainder of last season after suffering an ankle injury while on international duty with Cameroon's U23 side, having been spotted on crutches with a brace at the time. His return suggests the recovery has progressed well ahead of the new campaign. The forward served mainly as a depth option before the injury, scoring two goals and adding an assist across 15 Ligue 1 appearances, one of them a start. Djibirin is expected to compete for playing time as Angers' preseason preparations continue.
