Remains sidelined

Nanasi (undisclosed) has been ruled out for Sunday's Ligue 1 clash against Rennes as he continues to recover from an injury, according to coach Hugo Oliveira, per Ici Alsace.

Analysis: Nanasi will miss a third consecutive Ligue 1 match after previously sitting out Strasbourg's encounters against Nice and Paris Saint-Germain. The Swedish winger has remained limited to individual running exercises while recovering from an undisclosed injury sustained during international duty, with no confirmed timeline for his return. He started Strasbourg's opening five league matches this season, recording two assists, seven chances created and six shots. His continued absence could create additional opportunities for Samuel Amo-Ameyaw or Gessime Yassine on the left flank, although Martial Godo's return to availability provides another attacking option.

Likely to remain sidelined

Nanasi (undisclosed) remained limited to individual running exercises Tuesday and is expected to miss Sunday's Ligue 1 clash against Rennes, according to Alsasports.

Analysis: Nanasi continues to recover from an undisclosed injury reportedly sustained during his recent international involvement with Sweden, having already missed Strasbourg's last two league matches against Nice and Paris Saint-Germain. The winger was only able to complete a few laps of the training pitch Tuesday, suggesting he remains some distance from returning to full team activities. He started Strasbourg's opening five Ligue 1 matches this season, recording two assists, seven chances created and six shots. His expected absence against Rennes could allow Samuel Amo-Ameyaw or Gessime Yassine to feature on the left flank, although Martial Godo's return to training provides another potential option.
