Solid defensive work
Noor Al Rawabdeh had four tackles (one won) and one interception in Saturday's 3-1 defeat against Argentina.
Analysis: Al Rawabdeh started all three games for Jordan in the World Cup as a holding midfielder, but he didn't do much outside of assisting on the goal in the loss to Algeria. In three starts, the midfielder tallied 11 tackles (seven won), two clearances, two interceptions and one blocked shots as well as one assist, two chances created and one shot off target.

His tackling intensity, positional discipline and relentless work rate make him the defensive foundation of Jordan's compact system, and his performances across both group games established him as one of the most effective defensive midfielders among the tournament's smaller nations in the opening round.
